What Ojas Offers
Ojas offers 6 in-house bedrooms + 2 unattached bedrooms. All carefully curated and well designed, totaling 19 single beds that can be joined together to create a king for couples. Cot beds can be added to the larger bedrooms for a total sleeping capacity of 20.
Four of the six in-house bedrooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms and showers. The other two in-house bedrooms share a hallway bathroom and shower. A half bath is located on the main level, totaling six bathrooms and five showers.
Our comfortable beds are made with great care and organic cotton sheets. We provide bath and spa towels and organic shampoo, conditioner, and soap in all our showers.
Mountain View
Mountain View is our largest room and is named for the stunning view off of it’s private balcony. There are 4 single beds that can be converted to 1 king and 2 singles. There is also space to add a cot if needed. The attached bathroom has two sinks, a jacuzzi tub, and a large shower and toilet in their own enclosed space.
Hawk’s Nest Loft
Hawks’s Nest is named after the two hawks who can be seen flying over the property from this room's private balcony. This room has 2 single beds on the main floor that can be converted to 1 king. The loft space has 1 single bed. A cot can be added to sleep an additional person if needed. Hawk’s Nest has a large ensuite bathroom with a standup shower.
Avocado
Avocado is named for the avocado trees neighboring the property. There are 2 single beds that can be converted to 1 king. This bedroom shares a hall bathroom and shower with the Sage room which is beside it. A cot can be added to sleep an additional person if needed.
Sage
Sage is named after the Sagebrush indigious to the property. There are 2 single beds that can be converted to 1 king. This bedroom shares a hall bathroom and shower with the Avocado room which is beside it.
Lotus
Lotus is named after the Lotus flower pond outside this room’s outside courtyard entrance. There are 3 single beds which can be converted to 1 king and 1 single. A cot can be added to sleep an additional person if needed. Lotus has an ensuite bathroom with a standup shower.
Owl Box
Owl Box is named after the owls that can be seen and heard around the property. There are 2 single beds that can be converted to 1 king. This bedroom has it’s own outside entrance and an attached bathroom that is also accessible from the pavilion.
Kitchen & Dining
Our kitchen is well thoughtout to accommodate your cooking needs. We offer simple and appealing glassware, plates, bowls, and silverware that create a delightful energy for dining. Table dining is set up for 20 indoors and 10 outdoors. Retreat leaders can choose to provide their own food and chef or Ojas can manage the food service inhouse.
Pavilion
The Pavilion at Ojas is accessed through the zen courtyard. It is a large 1500 sq. ft.stunning space with high vaulted ceilings, opening glass doors on 2 ½ sides, an outdoor deck, and a view of the trees. Yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets, and meditation cushions are all provided for your use. Other amenities in the pavilion include: a large sink, small refrigerator, hot water kettle, microwave, and bamboo hot/cold cups for beverages. The pavilion conveniently has direct access to a bathroom from inside the space.
Outdoors
You will love the mountain and plateau views from our expansive deck featuring an eight person hot tub, and outdoor dining, a quaint courtyard with a pond, and a lounge area with a fire pit. Or you enjoy your time at our peaceful outdoor pool and patio.
You'll be so relaxed it may be difficult to find the motivation to go for a hike! Neighboring to Ojas is the Santa Rosa Plateau and Ecological Reserve, a unique protection area for many ecosystems, which contains approximately 40 miles of hiking and biking trails. Access to the trails is via a path just outside of our driveway.
Extra Spaces: Lizard's Lounge
Two additional unattached spaces are available at Ojas. The first is called "Lizard's Lounge" and can be used as a massage / wellness consultation room OR a bedroom for one person. It cannot be used as both for the same retreat as there is not enough space for a bed and massage table. Lizard's Lounge is super cozy and has it's own heat/ac unit for temperature control. The closest bathroom is in the pavilion. This space is included in our standard pricing packages.
Extra Spaces: The Sanctuary
Our unattached bedroom and bath house named "The Cosmic Coyote Sanctuary" is down a dirt and stone path from Ojas's main building. This space sleeps two people in two single beds or one king bed. The space has heat/AC and a mini fridge. It's private unattached bathhouse is up a short hill about 75 feet away. This peaceful space is ideal for facilitators or retreat staff. Please ask for more details. The Sanctuary and bathhouse is an optional space and has an additional nightly rental fee.
